Refund policy

1. General Return Policy: All Sales Are Final

Normally, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been shipped.

Because we sell reading materials and rare collectibles, we cannot accept returns based on "buyer's remorse" or situations where a customer simply reads the book and wishes to return it. We appreciate your understanding in helping us protect the integrity of these rare books.

2. Understanding "Vintage Condition"

Please keep in mind that we sell used and vintage books (ഉപയോഗിച്ച പഴയ പുസ്തകങ്ങൾ).

  • It is entirely normal for these books to show signs of age, including yellowed pages, minor cover creases, shelf wear, faded text, or previous owners' signatures/stamps.

  • We make every effort to accurately describe the condition of each book and provide clear photographs in our product listings.

  • Normal vintage wear and tear is NOT considered "damage" and does not qualify for a return. Please review the product photos and condition notes carefully before completing your purchase.

3. Exceptions: Damaged in Transit or Incorrect Item Received

We only accept returns or issue refunds under the following strict conditions:

  • You received a completely different book than the one you ordered.

  • The book suffered severe, reading-impairing damage during shipping and transit (e.g., water damage from courier mishandling, torn in half during delivery).

How to Request a Return for Damage: If your order arrives severely damaged or incorrect, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us Immediately: You must contact us within 48 hours of the delivery date.

  2. Provide Proof: Include your Order Number and clear, well-lit photographs of:

    • The damaged book.

    • The outer packaging/parcel showing how it arrived.

    • (Tip: An unboxing video is highly recommended and makes the verification process much faster!)

  3. Approval: Our team will review your claim within 1-2 business days.

4. The Refund Process

If your return is approved due to transit damage or an incorrect shipment:

  • We will provide you with instructions on how to ship the item back to us.

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you.

  • A full refund (including original shipping costs) will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-7 business days.

  • Note: Since our inventory consists of single, rare copies (1 quantity only), we generally cannot offer replacements or exchanges.

5. Order Cancellations

If you accidentally place an order and need to cancel, you must contact us within 2 hours of placing the order. If the book has already been packed and handed over to the courier, the order cannot be cancelled.
